ABOUT WIND / STONE

 

Wind/Stone is a collaboration between Gwendolyn Faasen, vocalist and American Indian Flute player and Ric Troll, percussionist which seeks to move beyond the threshold of the typical musical vocabulary of the instruments and allow the exploration of the individual soul of each instrument to emerge. The result is improvisations of unexpected beauty where the instruments serve as vessels for the spirit world to come forth and speak in its indigenous voice.
